100th Anniversary


A century and counting

Camp Belzer has been a staple in Central Indiana since 1918. Year after year, nearly 100 thousand people walk our grounds are impacted by the Scouting movement. From the summer camp, class field trips, and even weddings, Belzer has proven it is the perfect place for any group to experience the natrual beauty of the local community

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Camp Belzer, we will be hosting several events throughout the year, some exclusive to Scouts and others the general public should participate. Read below to see what each of the events entails and save the date!


Join us for a night of Food, Fun, and Fellowship! The event will kick off with a catered dinner from JUGS including the traditional fried biscuits and apple butter. We will be welcoming a special guest speaker, First Lady of Indiana, Janet Holcomb.
Come out for an awesome day/weekend at Belzer for some awesome activities put on by Firecrafter and other organizations within the Crossroads of America Council. Re-live the past 100 years of camping by engaging in some of the best activities our camp has to offer!
Please come out for this day of fun. Bring your family for this day chalked full of activities and walk away with some exclusive 100th anniversary memorabilia. A special dedication for a new momument at Belzer will be commemorated at 3:30pm the same day. Also consider droping by Friday night for the campfire program- 7pm 6/29/18, this event is open to everyone!
The year of celebrations ends with what Belzer does best- A Grand Cub Scout Event. Only this year you can expect to see even more activities for the family, including several new community partners. Spend your weekend with the traditional camp experience, followed by and overnight with Campfire program.
